Initial version: a blue satin ribbon
Design: Paola Besana
Final version: design by Pippo Lionni
When I opened my new studio where I was going to work on my own I created a logo that would symbolize the variety of my interests: not only weaving but also textile structures in general, hence two warp threads and two weft threads interweaved at right angles, with a cheeky little knot peeking out in search of new textile structures. I sent this version, done with ribbons and glued to a basis, to my cousin Pippo Lionni in Paris, who is a very good graphic designer, and here is his final version.
