Overview: We will study adjoining or partially overlapping blocks of supplementary floating warps. Using eight shafts it is possible to weave six blocks of supplementary floating warps on a plain weave background or fewer blocks on a more complex background.

Program: after examining the various types of supplementary floating warps, students will plan and prepare a suitable warp and weave a sampler taking notes of all the technical data.
