Overview: This is a theoretical approach to the fundamental types of ethnic looms and how they work.
Program: ethnic looms from various continents – vertical, horizontal, and warp-weighted – will be shown both through a specially produced video and through items from my own collection. We discuss their mechanics and examine artefacts woven on them.
